Welcome to the National Center for Quantum Computing (NCQC)
The National Center for Quantum Computing (NCQC) is Pakistan’s flagship initiative to drive innovation, research, and capacity-building in quantum science and emerging technologies.
Established under the strategic vision of building a knowledge-based economy, NCQC serves as a national hub for quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum algorithms, and quantum-safe cybersecurity.
Message from Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives
Speaking at the launch, Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, emphasized the importance of preparing Pakistan’s youth for the challenges of the future.
He remarked:
“This is a century of innovations, and only those nations can succeed which are well-equipped with the weapons of knowledge and technology. The establishment of NCQC is a vital step towards empowering our youth and ensuring that Pakistan becomes a competitive player in the global technological arena.”
